We utilize 100% of the wood we use!

We are proud to state that the wood wastes from our activity are utilized at 100%. In 2021 we finished with the installation of a new heating and extraction system of the whole factory and in combination with a wood chipper we managed to improve both the waste management and the working conditions at the factory throughout the whole year. Currently, the heating at the factory is fully automated and we manage to heat the factory and dry our wood using only 12 cbm per day from our wood wastes. In comparison before the installation of the new equipment we were consuming between 20-25 cbm both timber and wood waste per day. As a result, 8-12 trees per day are saved in the winter period.

On the other hand in the summer when we don’t need to heat the factory, we sell the wastes we cannot utilize to a partner company producing pellets and creating much more efficient fuel than timber and coal saving tonnes CO2 emmisions and other air pollution.
